TL;DR I’m pursuing my master’s in scientific illustration in The Netherlands starting this Fall. These are a few images from my portfolio and the application process.

I will be there for two years starting this Fall. This has been a long-time goal of mine and I am thrilled to begin the adventure.

Some of my wonderful family and friends here in the states will continue to fulfill online orders and keep my work stocked in the galleries and shops that I work with. I will, of course, always return to painting the public lands that I love. I hope you will continue to follow my work and studies in the years to come.

I’ve been fascinated by the life cycle and growth of flowers lately. January is always my time for experimenting with some personal projects and I’ve loved sketching out these ideas that have been in my head for awhile.
If anyone is interested in drawing or painting flowers, I highly recommend the book “The Science Behind Flowers” by Dick Rauh.

Attempted this hike in @rockynps while it was still pretty snow covered. Me and a couple strangers decided it was easier to slide down some of the steep bits on our rain jackets than attempt to walk it. Felt like a little little kid again and it’s one of my favorite memories from that trip.

I never expected to love @blackcanyonnps so much. I didn’t even know about it until I was in Colorado one summer and looking for places Withon driving distance to photograph. I fell in love instantly. The way the light travels through this deep canyon is completely unique and I have loved painting it as much as I love visiting it.
